Job Title: Activation Executive – Sports Location: Kolkata Experience Required: 1–3 years in sports events or activations Salary: As Per the market standards Reporting To: Events/Marketing Manager or Regional Activation Lead Or Activation Head Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and energetic Activation Executive – Sports to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing sports tournaments and events, especially at schools and colleges. The role also involves pitching sponsorships and integrating brand promotions within sports activations. This is a field-intensive role suited for someone who thrives in high-energy environments and has a flair for sports marketing and event management. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Event Execution: Plan, coordinate, and execute school and college-level sports tournaments and related events end-to-end. Sponsorship Acquisition: Identify and approach potential sponsors for events; pitch partnership proposals and close sponsorship deals. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with educational institutions, sports clubs, and venue authorities for event permissions and logistics. Sales Pitching during Events: Actively pitch products/services (as part of brand activations) to participants, spectators, and attendees during tournaments. On-Ground Activation Management: Supervise on-ground event setup, branding installations, and staff deployment to ensure smooth execution. Database & Reporting: Maintain a record of leads, sponsorships, and event participants. Submit timely reports and feedback for each event. Marketing Integration: Coordinate with marketing teams to align event messaging with brand strategy and ensure visibility. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Business, or related field. 1–3 years of experience in event activation, sports event management, or sponsorship roles. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to pitch and negotiate effectively. Willingness to travel extensively for event execution. Energetic, organized, and a self-starter with a strong passion for sports. Preferred Skills: Existing network with schools, colleges, or sports clubs. Understanding of sports operations and event logistics. Creative mindset to ideate sports-based engagement activities. Basic knowledge of MS Office and event reporting tools.
