Accoutant

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns and other tax documents for individuals and businesses.
• Assist with client onboarding and data management.
• Stay up-to-date on current tax laws and regulations, including GST.
• Communicate effectively with clients to answer questions and provide clear explanations.
• Prepare financial statements and perform other accounting tasks (as needed).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
• Strong understanding of taxation principles and accounting practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with client and data management (or a willingness to learn).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of GST (or a willingness to learn).

Desired skills:

• Proven working experience as Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable and receivables principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
