Accounts Receivable Specialist

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for various tasks related to billing, collections, and financial reporting. Your key responsibilities will include: - Generating and issuing customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner. - Applying cash receipts to customer accounts and reconciling any discrepancies. - Conducting account reconciliations and assisting with month-end closing activities. - Preparing aging reports and analyzing collection trends. - Ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant accounting standards. - Recommending process improvements for billing and collections procedures. - Assisting with audits and providing necessary documentation. In order to excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role. - Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks). - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. - Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to credit and collections is a plus.
