Accounts Payable Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Executive to manage vendor payments, expense verification, and cost accounting activities in our manufacturing plant. The role involves ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payables processing, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting factory cost analysis to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the full cycle of Accounts Payable (A/P) including invoice verification, expense classification, posting, and payment processing.
• Review and reconcile vendor statements, ensuring all payables are accurate and recorded on time.
• Coordinate with the procurement and warehouse teams to verify GRN (Goods Receipt Notes) and purchase order matching.
• Maintain accurate records of supplier advances, debit notes, and outstanding balances.
• Assist in factory cost accounting by tracking material consumption, labor, and overhead allocation.
• Support monthly and annual cost variance analysis and report to management.
• Prepare aging reports, payment forecasts, and assist with internal/external audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies, tax requirements, and statutory regulations (GST, TDS, etc.).
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance accuracy and efficiency in payables and cost control.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Cost Accounting in a manufacturing/retail/E-commerce environment.
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, 3-way matching, and cost allocation principles.
• Proficiency in Tally / SAP / ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to manufacturing plant accounting and inventory management systems.
• Working knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS) and compliance processes.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
