Accounts Officer

Role Overview: As an Accountant at Wiser Foods in Kalkaji, New Delhi, India, your main responsibility will be maintaining daily records of purchases, sales, and inventory using Tally or relevant software. You will also prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns on time. Additionally, you will be in charge of preparing financial reports, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets. Your role will require coordination with vendors, customers, and logistics partners for smooth billing, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, and assisting in internal and external audits. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain daily records of purchases, sales, and inventory using Tally or relevant software - Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns on time - Prepare financial reports, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets - Coordinate with vendors, customers, and logistics partners for smooth billing - Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards - Assist in internal and external audits Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field - 2-4 years of experience in a similar role (preferably in FMCG/logistics sector) - Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel, and MS Office - Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian tax laws - Strong attention to detail and time management skills Preferred: - Experience in a food distribution or import/export business - Familiarity with stock audits and cold-chain operations accounting (Note: This job is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, and the work location is in person.),
