Reporting to Senior Accounts and Administrative Officer & Project Manager
Public Health Resource Network is a growing network of individuals and
organizations with the perspective of strengthening technical and
management capacities to take action towards the common goal of
Health for All . Its main objective is to contribute and strengthen all
efforts directed towards the goal of Health for All through promotion of
public health, social justice and human rights related to the provision and
distribution of health services, especially for those who are generally left
underserved. PHRN is currently working in the states of the states of
Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Odisha and has contributed to the on-going
work of strengthening public health systems in other states through its

public health practitioners who are willing to intervene towards Health
for All by creating capacities and engaging with the public health system,
Public Health Resource Society (PHRS) is the core group that has
initiated the network. PHRS is a national level organization that is
registered in Delhi under Societies Registration Act 1860 (Act XXI). It
comprises of a small group of members and full timers that provides
leadership to the network as well as functions as its secretariat.

Keep and maintain all the accounts records in soft as well as in hard forms.
Verification of all the account records before audit. Responsible to submit the financial report to the Senior Accounts
and Administrative Officer for compilation, review and onward submission to the donor.
Booking all the records/ account/ financial transactions before the audit commencement.
Responsible for the submission of monthly report in soft and as well as in hard.
Responsible for the overall function of Admin and Finance at field level.
Should be able to prepare data for TDS quarterly returns. Maintain records of all letters and documents. Convey all the required instructions and policies of the
organization at the district and PMU level. Monitor administrative aspects of the PMU office/staff and
evaluate the discipline and punctuality of the staff to the assigned

tasks. Ensure maintenance of attendance register and the leave records
of staff and share the same with HR Manager on a monthly basis. Responsible to supervise the work related to procurement and
purchase of furniture, office equipment, air conditioner etc. Responsible to negotiate service agreements with vendors and
landlords. Perform any other tasks entrusted by the Senior Accounts and
Administrative Officer and the Executive Director as and when required by the organization.
Graduation or equivalent in commerce from a reputed institution / university, an additional qualification related to the same filed will be given preference.
Minimum 3 years experience in handling the accounts, experience in working with NGOs will be given preference.
Experience in coordinating events/workshops
Should be able to deal with the vendors.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Candidate must be aware from the current statutory requirements related to Income Tax, EPF and GST.
