Accounts Officer

As an experienced Accounts Manager with 7+ years of experience in financial management, taxation, and general accounting within educational institutions or NGOs, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - **Cash Flow Management**: - Monitor cash flow to ensure operational needs are met. - Collaborate with the finance team to optimize working capital and manage liquidity. - Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements. - **Audit & Internal Controls**: - Lead internal and external audit processes, maintaining proper documentation and financial records. - Enforce internal controls to uphold the integrity of financial information. - Identify process improvement areas and recommend solutions for enhanced accuracy and efficiency. - **Taxation & Other Compliance**: - Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other statutory filings such as PF & ESI, 80G, 12A. - Supervise the preparation and submission of monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.), TDS returns, and other tax-related filings. - **Financial Planning & Analysis**: - Monitor financial performance against the budget regularly. - Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. - Provide forecasting and financial analysis to support decision-making. - **Financial Systems**: - Develop and implement financial systems and controls in alignment with group accounting policies. - Manage financial risks by implementing effective internal controls, financial policies, and risk mitigation strategies. **Skills Required**: - Experience in developing and implementing financial systems and controls. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Excellent time management skills. - Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and tax laws in India.
