Vacancy Announcement: Accounts Officer Organization: Jan Sahbhagi Vikas Kendra (JSVK), Ranchi Location: Ranchi, Jharkhand Position: Accounts Officer Type: Full-time About the Organization: Jan Sahbhagi Vikas Kendra (JSVK) is a reputed NGO working for the holistic development of rural and tribal communities in Jharkhand. Our focus areas include livelihood enhancement, child protection, women empowerment, education, environmental sustainability, and community health. Key Responsibilities: Maintain day-to-day accounts using Tally Prime Prepare financial reports, budgets, and utilization certificates Manage bookkeeping, voucher entries, and bank reconciliations Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, etc.) Assist in financial audits and donor reporting Maintain records of grants and project expenditures Required Qualifications and Experience: Educational Qualification: B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally Prime is mandatory Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in the development sector or NGOs Other Requirements: Good working knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications Strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Knowledge of NGO financial systems will be an added advantage Remuneration: Commensurate with experience and organizational norms.
