Accounts Head

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial

• Lead the end-to-end accounting operations up to finalization.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Ensure timely closing of books and accuracy of general ledger.

2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Manage all direct and indirect tax matters: GST, TDS, Income Tax, PT, PF, ESIC, and Labor Welfare Fund.
• Ensure timely payments, returns filing, and audits under various tax laws.
• Liaise with consultants and auditors for statutory and tax audits.

3. Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS

• Prepare annual budgets, variance reports, and periodic forecasting.
• Generate and present MIS reports to management including cash flow analysis, cost control, and profitability metrics.
• Perform expense reviews and support cost optimization.

4. Banking & Treasury Management

• Oversee bank operations including reconciliations, fund transfers, and working capital management.
• Manage LC/BG issuance, import/export documentation, and international remittances.

5. Payroll & Vendor Management

• Supervise salary processing, payroll compliance (PF/ESIC/Form 16), and staff reimbursements.
• Monitor vendor accounts, payment cycles, and resolve discrepancies.

6. Audit & Internal Controls

• Implement internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Coordinate statutory, tax, and GST audits including responding to audit queries.

7. Team Leadership & Coordination

• Lead and mentor the accounts team for timely and accurate work.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments for efficient financial operations
