Accounts Executive - store account and audit

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations at the store level, including sales, purchase, expense, and inventory entries.
• Handle daily cash, bank, and stock reconciliations.
• Maintain and update records in Tally Prime accurately and on time.
• Prepare journal vouchers, ledgers, and monthly financial reports.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for store audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Support management in budgeting, cost control, and variance analysis.
• Ensure accuracy in billing, vendor payments, and petty cash management.
• Collaborate closely with the store operations and finance team for smooth workflow.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience in the retail industry (store-level experience preferred).
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel; familiarity with GST, TDS, and general accounting principles.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of audit procedures and retail accounting processes.
• Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualities

• Prior experience in a multi-store retail environment.
• Strong organizational and reporting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail setup with tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
