Accounts Executive - Finance & Accounts (Immediate Joiners Preferred)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day financial transactions in a retail environment. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in accounting, excellent knowledge of GST and TDS, and hands-on experience with retail billing and inventory systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Reconcile daily sales reports with POS billing and ensure accurate revenue tracking.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable; follow up on outstanding payments.
• Maintain general ledger, bank reconciliation statements, and petty cash accounts.
• Process vendor invoices and coordinate with the procurement and inventory teams.
• Assist in monthly closing activities and preparation of financial reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (M.Com or CA Inter preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in an accounting role within the retail sector is mandatory.
• Solid understanding of retail operations, inventory flow, and POS systems.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, Zoho Books, or other accounting software.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and other applicable tax regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
