Accounts Executive

Job Summary We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate record-keeping, timely posting of journal entries, and ensuring compliance with GST regulations. Key Responsibilities Journal Entries: Prepare and post accurate journal entries for various financial transactions (e.g., sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments). Bookkeeping: Maintain and update ledgers, cash books, and bank books meticulously. Reconciliations: Assist with bank reconciliations and other ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy. GST Compliance: Basic understanding and application of Goods and Services Tax (GST) principles. Assist in preparing data for GST return s. Ensure proper recording of GST-related transactions. Documentation: Maintain organized and complete financial records and supporting documentation. Reporting: Assist in preparing basic financial reports as required. Support: Provide support to the senior accounting team as needed. Software Usage: Proficiently use accounting software (e.g., Tally) and Microsoft Excel for day-to-day tasks. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field. 1 to 3 years of experience in an accounting role. Proven experience in posting journal entries and general bookkeeping. Basic knowledge and understanding of GST regulations in India. Proficiency in accounting software like Tally. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and organizational skills.
