Job Description

You will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations, and supporting financial planning and analysis. Your role will involve preparing and examining financial statements, maintaining the general ledger, and recording financial transactions. Additionally, you will be in charge of preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, performing bank reconciliations, and monitoring cash flow. Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, filing tax returns, and collaborating with internal departments and external auditors will also be part of your duties. You will need to recommend ways to reduce costs and improve financial performance while maintaining the confidentiality of financial information. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role. - Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA would be beneficial. - Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP. - Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS. - Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. This is a full-time office-based role with standard business hours, potentially involving occasional overtime during reporting periods.
