Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant/Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable, performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end closing activities. This role requires strong accounting fundamentals, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle Accounts Receivable and Payable processes, including invoice verification and payment tracking.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Conduct account reconciliations and assist in month-end closing activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations, research outstanding cash items, and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze open items and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.
• Execute AP monthly close activities and ensure timely reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and perform general accounting functions.
• Support intercompany transactions and ensure proper elimination entries.
• Work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and External Stakeholders.
• Identify and support process improvement and automation initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter / MBA Finance or equivalent.
• Skills Required:
• Strong understanding of general accounting and month-end closing processes
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Good communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
