Accounts Assistant

As an Accounts Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support the finance and accounting team in various administrative and financial tasks. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and assisting with day-to-day financial operations. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role or internship in accounting or finance is an advantage.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management abilities. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile invoices with purchase orders, delivery notes, and other supporting documents.
• Resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoices and payments.
• Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare journal entries and accruals.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and provide support during audits.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
