Seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The role requires hands-on data entry in Tally, accurate TDS and GST entries, and strong knowledge of taxation. The ideal candidate should be comfortable making reports in Excel (advanced or beyond basic level), and ready to handle project collection and management responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Data entry of all financial transactions in Tally, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Perform TDS entries and assist CA with statutory compliance for GST, income tax data. Prepare and maintain accounting records, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, bank reconciliations, and creditor/debtor statements. Generate and analyse reports using MS Excel (must be proficient with advanced spreadsheet functions). Support in preparing financial statements, handling invoices, and facilitating project-related collections and accounts management. Assist in the preparation of tax bills and various statutory filings. Maintain proper documentation and filing of all accounting records and transaction documents. Desired Skills and Qualifications Graduate in Commerce or a related field (B.Com/M.Com preferred). Strong knowledge of Tally accounting software is must. Good understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation laws. Advance proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis). Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work with accuracy under deadlines. Additional Requirements Experience in project collection/account management will be an advantage.
