Accounts Assistant

Job Summary:

We are hiring about 4 experienced Accounts Assistants who are willing to work full time, to support the finance and accounts operations of our bakery chain comprising 18 branches. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the food & beverage or retail sector. The incumbent will work as part of a team and report to the head of accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily accounting operations including data entry, invoicing, and reconciliation
• Maintain branch-wise ledgers and accounts promptly
• Handle vouchers, and bank reconciliations
• Monitor receivables and payables
• Support monthly and annual financial closing
• Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors
• Identify any anomalies in accounting practices and bring them to the attention of their superiors and management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (preferably in a bakery or multi-branch retail environment)
• Proficient in accounting software - Tally ERP
• Knowledge of MS Excel
• Ability to manage time and multi-task across different branch accounts
• Should uphold high levels of integrity, be disciplined, punctual and willing to adhere to rules and regulations of the company.

Preferred:

• Experience in handling accounts for a chain of outlets/branches
• Immediate joiners willing to locate themselves at Pala or nearby areas.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

• Lalam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
