Job Description

As a candidate for this position, you will be responsible for various financial and compliance-related tasks. Your main responsibilities will include: - Tally Entry: Recording and managing financial transactions in Tally software while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. - Statutory Filings: Preparing and filing Balance Sheets, Annual Returns, and Auditors Appointment documents with the Registrar of Companies (ROC). - Meeting Documentation: Drafting and maintaining Annual General Meeting (AGM) books and Board Meeting Minute Books for ROC compliance. - Tax Compliance: - Preparing and filing Income Tax returns. - Filing GST Returns accurately and on time. - Invoicing: Generating and issuing rent invoices on a monthly basis. - Bank Reconciliation: Regularly updating passbooks and reconciling bank statements. - Investment Management: - Updating all investment records in Tally. - Preparing Capital Gain charts for financial reporting. - Managing renewal of Fixed Deposits for various entities. - Facilitating Dividend Declaration processes. - Transferring funds for BSE Star investments as required. - Income Tax Hearings: Compiling and submitting all necessary documents as per the requirements of the CA Office for Income Tax hearings. - General Office Record Keeping: Maintaining organized and up-to-date records for all financial and administrative activities. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Strong understanding of ROC compliance, GST, and Income Tax regulations. - Familiarity with investment instruments such as mutual funds, FDs, bonds, and equities. - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. - Prior experience in accounting or administrative roles preferred. Key skills that will be beneficial for this position: - Working knowledge of GST portal, MCA portal, and Income Tax e-filing portal. - Proficiency in Tally software and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). - Excellent communication and coordination abilities. - Experience managing accounts for multiple entities or HNIs. - Ability to handle independent correspondence with consultants, auditors, and banks. This is a full-time position that is office-based with occasional coordination with external authorities such as ROC and tax offices.,
