Job Description

Title: Accounting Manager

Location: Kharadi, Pune

Job Type: Full-time, Work from Office

About the Position:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager with a background in finance and accounting, preferably in the ESG sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the organization's financial growth. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and expertise in financial management.

Roles s Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with the Companies Act 2013 and other applicable laws, Prepare and file Good Accounting Knowledge considering all the relevant laws and Accounting Standards.
Taxation and Tax Planning: Oversee tax compliance, including GST, TDS, and other relevant taxes, collaborate with tax consultants to implement tax-efficient strategies.
Compliance and Reporting: Stay updated on relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements in the ESG sector in India, Prepare and submit financial reports to regulatory authorities as necessary, assist in the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
Budgeting, Forecasting, Cash Flow and Financial Management.
Team Leadership, managing Vendor and Client Relations.

What we are looking for

A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
4-5 years of post-qualification experience.
Strong knowledge of Indian financial regulations, taxation, accounting standards and compliance.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Leadership and team management skills.
