Accounting Control Analyst

Role Overview: As an Accounting Control Analyst at Deutsche Bank in Pune, India, you will be part of the Accounting close team responsible for ensuring Legal Entity financials are accurately reported in the Group Consolidation System. Your main responsibilities will include processing standard and non-standard accounting adjustments, participating in LEC control initiatives, and ensuring accurate and quality delivery of services within a risk-controlled environment to achieve overall client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Perform General Ledger Reconciliation and Substantiation and LEC metrics - Handle accounting and supporting reporting for Frankfurt (Germany) Entities involved in banking and non-banking activities - Convert business events into accounting treatments for reporting under IFRS and German GAAP - Generate MIS Packs and financial statements with trend analysis and commentaries - Manage exception resolution, reconciliation, and break resolution - Liaise with customer/LVC teams to ensure information is received as per requirements - Independently manage BAU tasks and provide functional training and review processes for team members - Maintain adherence to standard procedures and key operating procedures - Drive process changes for efficiency while ensuring a controlled environment - Escalate issues promptly to avoid adverse impacts on the business - Participate in UAT and represent the Accounting Close team for various projects - Foster a team-oriented work culture and provide support during contingencies - Keep process documentation up to date Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of professional experience in Finance teams of banks, investment banks, accounting/audit firms, or similar roles in a BPO/KPO center - Experience in reconciliation activities and ERP/S4 Hana Architecture (preferably SAP) - Knowledge of Reference Data maintenance and working knowledge of IFRS - Basic understanding of BI tools like Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI is preferred - Strong communication skills, analytical abilities, time management skills, drive, and motivation - Graduate or Post-Graduate in Commerce with 4-5 years of experience OR CA with 3 years of experience Please note that the company's additional details were not provided in the job description.,
