Accountant

As an Accountant at WeAddo, you will be an integral part of the finance team, responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. Your role will involve analyzing financial data to provide insights for decision-making, contributing to the organization's financial health. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Financial Reporting:** Prepare accurate financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in a timely manner. - **General Ledger Management:** Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records. - **Budgeting and Forecasting:** Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts while monitoring actual performance against the budget. - **Tax Compliance:** Prepare and file tax returns to ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations. - **Auditing:** Coordinate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. - **Financial Analysis:** Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights. - **Process Improvement:** Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function. - **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards. - **Other Duties:** Perform additional accounting tasks as required by management. **Qualifications Required:** - **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - **Experience:** Prior experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment. - **Certifications:** CPA or CMA certification is preferred but not mandatory. - **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, Odoo, and advanced knowledge of MS Excel. - **Analytical Skills:** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. - **Communication Skills:** Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. - **Organizational Skills:** Capable of managing multiple tasks, prioritizing work, and meeting deadlines effectively.
