Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Amritsar. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, preparing bank reconciliations, managing payables and receivables, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting and Bookkeeping:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

2. Bank Reconciliations:

- Prepare and review bank reconciliations on a regular basis.

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

3. Payables and Receivables:

- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

- Maintain relationships with clients and vendors.

4. Client Management:

- Communicate with clients regarding their accounts, invoices, and payments.

- Resolve client queries and concerns in a professional manner.

5. Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

- 6 months to 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures

- Proficiency in accounting software, such as Tally or SAP

- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines
