Job Description

US Accountant (India-based, serving US clients)

We are seeking a detail-oriented US Accountant to handle bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance for our US clients. You’ll manage US GAAP transactions, prepare financial statements, support tax filings, and assist with audits.

What You’ll Do:

Maintain accurate books for US clients
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and IRS regulations
Support tax filings
Reconcile bank statements and manage A/R & A/P
Assist in audits and respond to client queries

What We’re Looking For:

Strong knowledge of US GAAP and US tax regulations
Experience with US client accounting or remote accounting services
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
