Role Overview

Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations and bookkeeping
Prepare and maintain financial statements, ledgers, and reports
Handle GST returns, TDS filings, and income tax compliances
Maintain accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
Process payroll and coordinate with HR for salary disbursement
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly MIS reports
Liaise with external auditors, vendors, and statutory bodies
Ensure compliance with all government regulations and audits
Handle invoicing, purchase orders, and vendor payments
Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems for all transactions

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
Minimum
5 years of hands-on accounting experience
Proficiency in
Tally, Excel
, and accounting software (Zoho/QuickBooks preferred)
Deep understanding of
taxation laws
,
GST
,
TDS
, and statutory norms
Experience in
MSME/Private Limited
companies preferred
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail are a must

sector
Prior exposure to
ROC filings
, audits and startup financial practices
