Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee daily accounting operations at our hospital. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the healthcare or hospital industry and a strong understanding of accounting principles, statutory compliance, and hospital billing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, billing, and payroll processes.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor hospital budgets and expenditures.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and hospital accounting standards.
Collaborate with internal departments for financial planning and reporting.
Manage patient billing and reconcile insurance claims.
Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
Monitor cash flow, banking operations, and vendor payments.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CA/ICWA preferred).
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in the hospital or healthcare industry.
Strong knowledge of hospital billing procedures and TPA/insurance handling.
Proficient in accounting software (Tally, ERP, Excel).
Good understanding of taxation (GST, TDS) and financial compliance.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
