Accountant

Over the past four years, we have evolved from a humble 100-square-foot garage to a thriving team of over 150 individuals. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various accounting tasks. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Demonstrating proficiency in MS Excel, including functions like Vlookup, Pivot tables, and Conditional formatting - Utilizing accounting software such as Tally, BUSY, and ERP for financial management - Preparing monthly and annual financial reports along with financial statements - Collaborating with Chartered Accountant for financial reporting - Analyzing historical financial data and generating detailed reports like cash flow statements - Managing vendors and reconciling transactions with online sales channels - Conducting bank visits for cheque-related matters and assisting in balance sheet processing - Ensuring compliance with legal and company accounting guidelines - Maintaining vendor relationships and resolving billing discrepancies The ideal candidate for this role should possess: - Proven experience as a junior accountant - Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail - Proficiency in handling numbers, with a keen analytical acumen - Familiarity with general ledger operations - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities - Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office - Effective multitasking and prioritization skills - Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with computer systems for extended periods - A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, with additional certifications like ACA, ACCA, or CIMA being advantageous At SAADAA, we believe in simplicity and better basics as the keys to a fulfilling life.
