Job Title: Junior Accountant

Reports To: Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our accounting team. As a Junior Accountant, you will assist with various accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and reconciling accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting and grow their career in finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and financial reports.
• Support the senior accounting team in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other compliance-related documentation.
• Support the accounting team in day-to-day operations, including filing and maintaining accounting records.
• Ensure timely processing of all financial transactions and entries in accounting software.
• Maintain and update financial spreadsheets and documents.
• Assist with audit preparations and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
• Participate in any special accounting projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• A Graduation degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and equivalent work 1-2 Year experience.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel (Advanced skills are a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of accounting any software.
