Job Title: QA/QC Engineer – Main Gas Pipeline Company: MANISH J INFRA PROJECTS LIMITED Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh (The location may change for any reason) Job Summary: The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all quality control and quality assurance activities for the main gas pipeline project comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The role includes the implementation of quality management systems, conducting inspections, audits, and ensuring proper documentation for pipeline construction, welding, coating, and testing processes . Key Responsibilities: Pre-Execution QA/QC: · We should be Arrange WPS, Welding Procedure Specification · Conduct WQT (Welder Qualification Test) and EQT (Electrode Qualification Test) · Also available Level-2 Certificate · We Should be knowledge of Welding, Coating, HDD Hydrotest · Review soil investigation reports, bore logs, and pipeline alignment drawings · Verify material specifications (pipes, fittings, valves) as per approved Material Inspection Reports (MIR) · Inspect readiness of machinery, welding equipment, and site setup Execution Quality Monitoring: · Monitor pipe laying activities including HDD/trenchless where applicable · Supervise pipe jointing (Butt Fusion, Electro-fusion) ensuring quality standards · Check bentonite slurry properties (viscosity, density) and maintain testing logs · Validate pipe alignment and depth based on design and tracking system data Welding & Coating Inspection: · Conduct fit-up and welding inspections as per approved WPS and PQR · Maintain welding logs , traceability records, and joint identification · Monitor coating application, perform thickness checks , and holiday testing · Ensure compliance with specified protective coating systems (FBE, wrapping, etc.) Testing & Verification: · Perform dimensional inspections (OD, wall thickness, roundness, SDR) · Witness and document hydrostatic / pneumatic pressure tests · Prepare and verify test packs for each pipeline section Documentation & Reporting: · Prepare and maintain: o Work Inspection Reports (WIR) o Material Inspection Reports (MIR) o Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) o Welding, Coating, Slurry Logs o TPI Observations and Clearance Records · Compile QA/QC dossier and As-Built Documentation for final submission Billing Support – RA Bills: · Cross-check executed work quantities with approved site measurements · Support in the preparation of Running Account (RA) Bills with all QA/QC backup · Ensure alignment of RA Bills with WIRs, DPRs, and client-verified quantities Third Party Inspection (TPI) Coordination: · Coordinate with TPI agencies for material, welding, coating, and testing inspections · Ensure all activities are witnessed, approved, and documented by TPI · Maintain punch lists and ensure timely closure and TPI clearance Compliance & Internal Coordination: · Ensure adherence to IS, ASTM, API, PNGRB , and project-specific standards · Work closely with execution, billing, and client QA teams · Participate in toolbox meetings and QA-related safety initiatives Qualifications: · Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. · 1 to 2 years of QA/QC experience in main gas pipeline projects Key Skills Required: · Strong knowledge of WQT, EQT, hydrotesting, welding & coating QA · Understanding of trenchless/HDD techniques (where applicable) · Experience in TPI coordination and final documentation submission · Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic), and QA documentation processes Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Benefits: Food provided Provident Fund Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Yearly bonus Work Location: In person Speak with the employer +91 7567241108 Application Deadline: 16/07/2025 Expected Start Date: 12/07/2025
