Job Description

About Us:

Patel Public School is a reputed institution dedicated to holistic education and nurturing academic excellence. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accountant to manage our financial operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records of the school.
Prepare and monitor school budgets, expense reports, and financial statements.
Handle daily accounting tasks including billing, fee collection, bank reconciliation, and vendor payments.
Manage payroll processing for teaching and non-teaching staff.
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
Assist with annual audits and liaise with auditors.
Maintain inventory records and track fixed assets.
Coordinate with the school administration on budget planning and expense control.
Manage petty cash and oversee school store accounts if applicable.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or related field.
Minimum 1 years of experience in accounting (experience in school accounting preferred).
Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Bellandur, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
