Accountant

About Us:

Patel Public School is a reputed institution dedicated to holistic education and nurturing academic excellence. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accountant to manage our financial operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records of the school.
• Prepare and monitor school budgets, expense reports, and financial statements.
• Handle daily accounting tasks including billing, fee collection, bank reconciliation, and vendor payments.
• Manage payroll processing for teaching and non-teaching staff.
• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Assist with annual audits and liaise with auditors.
• Maintain inventory records and track fixed assets.
• Coordinate with the school administration on budget planning and expense control.
• Manage petty cash and oversee school store accounts if applicable.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 1 years of experience in accounting (experience in school accounting preferred).
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bellandur, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Accountant: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• Kannada, Hindi and English (Preferred)
