Job Title: Accounting Intern Location: ISHA'S Creative Media, Nadakkav, Calicut Office Timings: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Internship Type: Paid Internship Overview: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to assist our finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks and gain hands-on experience in professional accounting practices. This is a great opportunity to learn and work closely with experienced accountants in a real-world business environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in basic accounting tasks such as billing, data entry, and record maintenance Support accounts payable and receivable processes Help in the preparation and organization of financial documents Learn and assist with GST, TDS filing procedures under supervision Work with Excel, MS Office or Google Workspace tools to generate reports and summaries Assist in inventory accounting and other general ledger tasks Help in collecting and organizing financial and MIS reports Support monthly and year-end close processes Participate in audits and compliance-related activities Perform other tasks as assigned by the finance team Requirements: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field Basic knowledge of accounting principles and MS Office (especially Excel) Willingness to learn about GST, TDS, and compliance filings Good communication and organizational skills Attention to detail and a proactive approach What You'll Learn: Practical knowledge of core accounting functions Exposure to regulatory filings and compliance processes Use of accounting software and reporting tools Real-world business finance practices and team collaboration Additional Information: Candidates should be proactive and able to work both independently and in collaboration with multiple departments. Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
