Role Overview:

We are seeking a Accountant who is eager to develop their skills in the finance industry. At Incorpx, you will gain hands-on exposure to a variety of financial tasks, including assisting with bookkeeping, accounting and compliance activities. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and play a key role in ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly and in compliance with applicable laws.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records, including journal entries, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.
  • Handle end-to-end accounting operations using Zoho Books, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare, review, and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) within statutory timelines.
  • Manage TDS compliance, including calculation, deduction, payment, and filing of TDS returns (24Q, 26Q), and issuance of Form 16/16A.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable, follow up on outstanding balances, and ensure timely collections and payments.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts.
  • Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and supporting schedules as required by management.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for audits and assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and internal reviews.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting functions.
  • Hands-on experience with

    Zoho Books

    (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of

    GST compliance and filings

    .
  • Working knowledge of

    TDS

    , including deductions, payments, and return filings.
  • Familiarity with Indian accounting standards and statutory regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting-related documentation.
  • Experience in a similar industry will be preferred, especially experience working in a CA firm.

  • Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
