About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our growing team. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, preparing financial reports, and supporting business decision-making. As a part of a mid-sized firm, you will handle a diverse range of accounting tasks and work closely with management, auditors, and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and records in compliance with accounting standards. Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile bank statements, and manage accounts payable/receivable. Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliances (return filing, payment, reconciliations). Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities. Monitor cash flows and assist in fund management. Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies. Generate MIS reports and provide financial insights to management. Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (Master’s / CA Inter preferred). 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a mid-sized or growing firm. Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, and Income Tax provisions. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally Prime / Zoho Books / QuickBooks / SAP). Advanced MS Excel skills for reporting and analysis. Attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
