Job Description

Job Title: Accountant – Fresher Location: Gurgaon Experience: 0–1 year

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant (Fresher) who has strong knowledge of basic accounting concepts and is proficient in Excel. The candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting the finance team as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Record and maintain journal entries in the accounting system
Handle sales and purchase entries accurately and timely
Prepare and update bank entries, perform bank reconciliations
Assist in maintaining ledgers and trial balance
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Prepare basic financial reports and statements
Work with the finance team on data verification and documentation.
Ensure all accounting records are up to date and comply with company policies

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong understanding of journal entries, sales/purchase entries, and bank entries
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and GST/TDS (added advantage)
Good communication and analytical skills
Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred Attributes:

Eagerness to learn and grow in the accounting domain
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Positive attitude and team-player mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
