Job Description

Job Summary The Account Executive is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate books of accounts, preparing reports, and supporting audits and compliance activities. This role ensures the financial integrity and smooth operation of the company’s accounting processes. Key Responsibilities • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process. • Maintain general ledgers, journal entries, and reconcile accounts regularly. • Handle accounts payable and receivable functions. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Assist with GST, TDS, and other tax filings and compliance. • Coordinate with external auditors and CA firms for financial reviews. • Monitor petty cash and prepare expense reports. • Support budgeting and financial forecasting processes. • Ensure adherence to accounting principles and company policies. · Visits to Banks and other places for Cash or other transactions. Own vehicle is plus where petrol and maintenance charges will be reimbursed. Required Skills and Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance or experience in lieu. • 1–4 years of accounting experience. • Strong knowledge of Tally or other financial tools • Excellent analytical and numerical skills. • Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping. • Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools. Preferred Attributes • Experience working in small to mid-size companies. • Understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
