Role Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial operations, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and optimize financial processes. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling accounting, taxation, and financial reporting in a fast-paced environment in B2B service based company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and balance sheets.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Generate financial reports (P&L statements, cash flow, balance sheets) for management review.
• Manage payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and compliance with labor laws.
• Coordinate with auditors and assist in the annual audit process.
• Optimize accounting processes and recommend cost-effective strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Indian financial regulations and taxation laws.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a startup or agency environment.
• Strong knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
• Expertise in GST, TDS, and other Indian taxation laws.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a PR, Media, or Marketing firm.
• CA Inter or equivalent qualification is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
