Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting tasks, ensure financial accuracy, and support the company’s financial planning and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and proficiency with accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals.
Prepare and review vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and track cash flow.
Handle accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently.
Assist in preparing financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
Ensure compliance with tax laws, including TDS, GST, and other statutory filings.
Support budget preparation and expense management.
Conduct periodic internal audits to verify accuracy and detect discrepancies.
Coordinate with external auditors, vendors, and management for financial matters.
Generate MIS reports and provide insights to management for decision-making.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com / M.Com).
CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience (depending on the role).
Strong knowledge of Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP software.
Understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Excellent MS Excel and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
