Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities (Short Summary)1. Daily Transaction RecordingRecord daily sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments. Maintain accurate books of accounts and update cash/bank records. 2. GST Compliance (GSTR-1, GSTR-2, GSTR-3, GSTR-3A)Prepare and upload GSTR-1 (sales). Reconcile purchase invoices for GSTR-2. Prepare monthly GST summary for GSTR-3/3A and coordinate for filing. 3. Billing & InvoicingGenerate GST-compliant invoices. Maintain invoice numbers and records. Issue debit/credit notes when required. 4. Payment CollectionTrack customer payments and outstanding dues. Send reminders and update receipts in accounts. 5. Journal EntriesPost journal entries for adjustments, accruals, contra, and depreciation. Maintain proper supporting documents. 6. Salary & Payroll MaintenanceMaintain attendance and prepare monthly salary sheet. Record salary payments and deductions. 7. ReportingPrepare basic reports: sales, purchases, expenses, cash/bank balance, receivables, and payables.
