Accountant Assistant

Job Title: Accountant assistant Location: Erode, Tamil Nadu Department: Accounts & Finance Experience: 6 months – 2 years (Freshers with strong Tally knowledge are encouraged to apply) Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-focused Accountant assistant to join our Accounts & Finance team in Erode. The ideal candidate should possess practical experience or sound knowledge of Tally, fundamental accounting principles, and financial record management. Key Responsibilities: Handle daily accounting operations including purchase order processing, invoice entry, and vendor/customer record maintenance. Manage accounts payable and receivable using Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime. Perform bank reconciliations and assist with financial reporting on a regular basis. Support month-end and year-end closing activities, audits, and inventory updates. Ensure accuracy and compliance in all accounting records and financial documentation. Required Skills: Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and core accounting principles. Knowledge of GST regulations, banking procedures, and invoice processing. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a collaborative mindset. Effective communication skills in Tamil and English. Qualifications: B.Com / M.Com / Diploma in Accounting (Preferred).
