Job Description

We are looking for a results-driven Account Manager (Expansion) to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth within our existing customer base by identifying and executing upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities. You will act as a trusted advisor to your accounts, understanding their business goals and demonstrating how our solutions can help them achieve greater success. Key Responsibilities:

Account Growth & Expansion

  • Own and manage a portfolio of existing accounts with a focus on revenue expansion
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on customer usage, needs, and goals
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize customer lifetime value
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual expansion revenue targets

    Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Conduct regular check-ins, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions
  • Act as the primary point of contact for expansion discussions and initiatives
  • Understand customer business objectives and align our solutions to their goals

Sales Execution

  • Manage the full sales cycle for expansion opportunities from discovery to close
  • Create compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases tailored to account needs
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and renewals to drive mutual value
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, customer success, product) to deliver seamless customer experiences

    Account Intelligence & Planning

  • Monitor account health metrics, product usage, and engagement signals
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities within your account portfolio
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline data in CRM
  • Analyze customer feedback and communicate product insights to relevant teams

Product Advocacy

  • Maintain deep knowledge of product features, updates, and roadmap
  • Demonstrate product value through customized demos and use case presentations
  • Educate customers on new features and best practices for maximizing ROI
  • Gather customer feedback and advocate for product enhancements

Reporting & Collaboration

  • Track and report on expansion metrics, pipeline, and revenue performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure customer success and satisfaction
  • Share best practices and insights with the broader sales and customer success teams
  • Participate in strategic planning and revenue optimization initiatives

Who Can Apply:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales in account management, expansion roles
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Strong business acumen and customer-centric mindset
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent work experience)Role & responsibilities
