Account Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Relationship Management:

    Serve as the primary point of contact for Category Managers at Q-commerce platforms. Negotiate margins, Joint Business Plans (JBP), and visibility slots (banners, search ads).
  • Assortment & Cataloging:

    Ensure 100% catalog health. Manage product listings, high-quality imagery, and SEO-optimized descriptions to improve discoverability.
  • Inventory & Availability (Fill Rate):

    Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure 95%+ stock availability across all dark stores. Monitor "Out of Stock" (OOS) patterns and prevent loss of sales.
  • Growth & Promotions:

    Plan and execute the monthly marketing calendar. Run platform-specific offers (Buy 1 Get 1, lightning deals) and track their Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
  • Performance Analytics:

    Deep dive into daily dashboards. Track key metrics including Gross Merchandise Value (GMV), conversion rates, and "Sell-through" velocity.
  • Competitor Mapping:

    Keep a close watch on competitor pricing, new launches, and visibility tactics on the apps.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience:

    2–5 years in E-commerce or FMCG Account Management. Experience specifically with Q-commerce platforms is a major plus.
  • Analytical Prowess:

    Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills are mandatory. You should be able to turn raw data into a growth strategy.
  • Negotiation Skills:

    Proven ability to negotiate with platform partners to get the best visibility at the lowest cost.
  • Agility:

    Ability to react in "real-time." In Q-commerce, a 1-hour stock-out can lead to a significant revenue drop.
  • Education:

    MBA or a degree in Marketing/Business is preferred.

  1. GMV Growth:

    Month-on-Month (MoM) increase in sales revenue.
  2. Fill Rate:

    Maintaining high product availability across all regions.
  3. ROAS:

    Efficiency of the marketing/visibility spend on the apps.
  4. Market Share:

    Growing our brand's share within the specific category.
