Role Overview: As an Account Manager at Danfoss, you will be a crucial part of driving sales growth and enhancing Danfoss's presence in the data center market. Your primary responsibilities will include establishing trusted relationships, expanding share of wallet, and identifying new opportunities to support Danfoss's mission of promoting smarter and more sustainable energy usage. Your success in this role will lead to stronger partnerships with customers, increased sales performance, and improved collaboration across various functions within the company. Key Responsibilities: - Lead sales initiatives to achieve targeted growth in the data center market by identifying and closing new opportunities aligned with Danfoss's strategic objectives. - Provide support to customers and internal stakeholders through value-based selling, conducting professional needs analysis, and engaging in business reviews to strengthen partnerships and deliver measurable outcomes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as customer service, engineering, pricing, and quality to ensure seamless communication, technical support, and customer satisfaction. - Utilize expertise in sales processes, CRM tools, and market insights to enhance customer engagement, monitor performance, and influence business decisions. - Continuously update and share knowledge of industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer requirements to enhance Danfoss's market position and deliver long-term value. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the data center market. - Demonstrated ability to navigate and excel in a global, matrixed, or complex organizational environment. - Strong self-management skills enabling you to work independently from a remote/home office while reporting to a US-based supervisor. - Willingness and capability to travel up to 50% domestically (regional) with occasional international travel. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to establish robust client and cross-functional relationships.
