Job Description

The Cisco Account Executive - Services is a customer-facing role responsible for driving the success of Cisco services business for EMEA HQ Global Accounts. Your main responsibilities include managing account plan activities, generating a balanced pipeline, forecasting and achieving bookings, ensuring contract profitability, and delivering a positive customer experience. In this role, you will engage with customer executives to establish and nurture deep relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor. You will identify customer business issues and challenges, effectively communicate solutions in a thought-provoking manner, and present compelling business cases that showcase how Cisco's solutions align with the customer's strategy and desired outcomes. Your role will also involve negotiating agreements, calculating return on investment for customers, and staying informed about market and industry trends. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 10+ years of experience in solution sales, particularly as an Account Manager or Service Account Manager. Experience in sales or service delivery in the Enterprise market is essential, along with the ability to build partner relationships and present analyses in a concise manner. You should have strong leadership skills to coordinate multiple initiatives, influence decisions related to Cisco services and technologies, and map Cisco Services into existing IT landscapes. Ideally, you will have knowledge of Cisco services offerings, software portfolio, data & analytics, security, and industry trends such as cloud and AI. Being self-organized, self-motivated, and possessing strong negotiation and presentation skills are key attributes for this role. Additionally, having a solid understanding of IT Service Management and the ability to prepare Strategic Business Planning will be beneficial.
