Account Executive

Job Description: Entry-Level Accountant (0.6 – 1 Year Experience)

Position: Accountant (Entry Level)
Experience Required: 0.6 to 1 year

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, including posting journal entries and updating financial records.
• Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, bills, receipts, and supporting documents for transactions.
• Support in processing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and verify ledger entries.
• Help in preparing financial statements and reports under supervision.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Assist in processing expense reimbursements for employees.
• Support statutory compliance (GST, TDS, etc.) and timely filings.
• Coordinate with internal teams for data collection and clarification.
• Respond to basic queries from auditors during audits.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the finance department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
• 0.6 to 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, Zoho, etc. preferred.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
