JOB DESCRIPTIONS FOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE-PURCHASE

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for Account Executive who is responsible for Purchase Orders (PO), Billing, and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) is responsible for managing the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and vendor payments, and handling all aspects of TDS compliance and filings. This role typically involves processing invoices, reconciling accounts, managing vendor relationships, generating bills, and ensuring adherence to tax regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities for an Account Executive (PO, Billing & TDS):

  • Purchase Orders (PO) & Accounts Payable:
  • Process and verify vendor invoices accurately and promptly.
  • Manage payment cycles and ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date vendor records and financial documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to streamline the accounts payable process.
  • Billing:
  • Generate and issue invoices to customers based on sales and service agreements.
  • Verify accuracy of billing data and address any errors.
  • Maintain and update billing system and customer records.
  • Handle customer inquiries regarding billing issues and resolve them promptly.
  • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
  • TDS (Tax Deducted at Source):
  • Calculate and ensure accurate TDS deduction on applicable transactions.
  • Prepare and file TDS returns (monthly/quarterly/annual) within stipulated deadlines.
  • Ensure timely payments of TDS to the government.
  • Maintain accurate records of TDS-related transactions and reconciliations.
  • Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations related to TDS.
  • General Accounting & Compliance:
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
  • Perform regular account reconciliations.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and company policies

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 Year Proven experience in accounting and taxation roles, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and software.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software like Tally, Excel
  • Certifications: CPA or CTA certifications are often preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
