Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive accounting professional responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, MIS reporting, invoice & purchase order (PO) processing, and supporting month-end closing activities. The role ensures accurate financial records, compliance with company policies, and timely reporting to management.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger postings.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
  • Support statutory audits, internal audits, and regulatory filings.

Invoice & PO Processing

  • Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders and goods receipt notes (GRN).
  • Process invoices accurately and ensure timely vendor payments.
  • Maintain records of purchase orders, invoices, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Handle queries related to accounts payable and coordinate with procurement and vendors.

MIS Reporting

  • Prepare and analyze financial MIS reports for management on a periodic basis (daily, weekly, monthly).
  • Provide variance analysis, expense tracking, and budget vs. actual reports.
  • Assist management in decision-making through accurate data and reporting insights.

Month-End Closing

  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare schedules and reports to support financial statements.
  • Ensure timely submission of closing reports to management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting, MIS, and accounts payable.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and TDS.
  • Proficiency in

    Tally, SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems

    .
  • Advanced skills in

    MS Excel

    (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS dashboards).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with attention to detail.
