Job Summary:

We are looking for a trustworthy and proactive Accountant to manage the company’s complete financial accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and streamlining both accounts and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Management

1. Maintain books of accounts on a daily basis including Cash Book, Bank Book, Journal, Ledger, and related documentation.

2. Prepare and reconcile Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) on a monthly basis.

3. Handle Accounts Receivable and Payable, including vendor payments, store purchases, and service billing.

4. Execute entries for Purchase Vouchers, Cash Handling, and Cheque Bounce scenarios in the system.

5. Periodically reconcile Supplier & Customer Accounts, Debtors & Creditors.

6. Maintain and update Sales & Purchase Registers, Stock Register, and manage issuance of materials.

Taxation & Compliance

1. Maintain GST-compliant sales and service invoices, and reconcile books with GST 2B.

2. File GST Returns (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B) on a monthly basis.

3. Prepare TDS Challans monthly and file TDS Returns quarterly.

4. Assist in Income Tax Return Filing and ensure compliance with all statutory norms.

5. Liaise with vendors and consultants for taxation-related requirements.

Banking & Procurement

1. Process and upload vendor payments through NEFT/RTGS and online banking portals.

2. Liaison with banking partners and handle client-side communication for payments and clearances.

3. Monitor and track procurement of administrative items such as stationery, medical supplies, and daily expense data.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

2. 1-2 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in advertising/events industry.

3. Proficiency in Tally ERP, GST Filing Portals, and MS Excel.

4. Strong understanding of Indian Taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax).

5. Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.

6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work closely with senior leadership.
