Account Executive

Job Title: Account Executive
Department: Accounts / Finance
Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Finance Manager
Location: Metoda, Rajkot

Job Summary

The Account Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with statutory requirements, and timely reporting. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledger posting, and reconciliation
• Prepare and verify vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform bank, cash, and vendor reconciliations
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts
• Prepare financial statements and MIS reports as required
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits
• Maintain proper documentation and record retention
• Support budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis activities
• Ensure adherence to company policies and internal controls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
• CA-Inter / CMA-Inter / M.Com (preferred but not mandatory)

Experience

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Experience in manufacturing / service industry is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance
• Proficiency in SAP/Tally/ ERP systems and MS Excel
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and coordination skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
