Reporting To: Managing Director / CEOJob Summary:

The Account Head will be responsible for leading the finance and accounts department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and effective financial planning. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and business finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire Accounts & Finance function of the organization.
• Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements, MIS reports, and budgets.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Income Tax, and other regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Supervise accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliation processes.
• Support management in strategic decision-making through financial analysis and insights.
• Lead, train, and mentor the accounts team to achieve departmental goals.
• Handle vendor negotiations, contracts, and financial approvals.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial management.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, ERP, SAP, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• High attention to detail and integrity.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (B.Com, BBA, etc.).
• Professional qualification preferred (CA / CMA / MBA in Finance).
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in accounting & finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Salary Range:

• As per industry standards / negotiable based on experience.
