Account Executive

The Accounts Executive will oversee all aspects of the organization&aposs accounting, finance, and statutory compliance functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health of the organization through accurate financial planning, robust accounting practices, and adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts and Financial Management

• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records, including balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
• Develop, monitor, and control budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and improve processes.

2. Statutory Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with all statutory requirements, including tax filings (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.), labour laws, and other regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies for audits, inspections, and filings.
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations, laws, and industry standards and implement changes accordingly.

3. Treasury and Cash Flow Management

• Monitor and manage the company&aposs cash flow to ensure financial stability and liquidity.
• Oversee investments, fund allocations, and working capital management.
• Evaluate and manage banking relationships and facilities, including loans and credit lines.

4. Risk Management and Internal Controls

• Establish, review, and strengthen internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
• Conduct regular financial risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Ensure the integrity of financial data and systems.

5. Strategic Financial Planning

• Assist in formulating long-term business strategies by providing financial insights and analysis.
• Evaluate potential investments, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic opportunities.
• Support the leadership team with financial decision-making and projections.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Masters or CA/CPA preferred).
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management roles.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ZohoBooks) and MS Excel.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
