Job Summary:

The Accounts Assistant will support the day-to-day accounting activities of the company, including bookkeeping, data entry, documentation, and preparation of financial records. The role requires good knowledge of Tally, Excel, and basic accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain daily bookkeeping records and ensure accurate data entry in Tally.
• Handle purchase, sales, expense, and journal entries.
• Prepare and update ledgers, vouchers, and cash/bank books.
• Assist in reconciliation of bank statements and vendor accounts.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain proper filing of invoices, bills, and financial documents.
• Prepare basic financial reports and statements as required.
• Support in monthly closing and audit-related activities.

Software & Tools

• Work efficiently on

  Tally

  for day-to-day accounting operations.
• Use

  Excel

  for preparing reports, maintaining sheets, and data analysis.
• Use

  MS Word

  for documentation, letters, and drafting when required.

Coordination

• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments for invoice and payment follow-ups.
• Support the Accounts Manager with administrative and accounting tasks.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
• Freshers with strong knowledge of Tally and Excel can also apply.
